Over 50 years ago, Harmann Studios began as a small portrait business out of Clif Harmann’s home. With the help of his wife June, and brother Wayne Harmann by his side, and the desire to share artistic portraits that captured their clients’ hearts, Harmann Studios was able to grow into the studio that it is today.

Passed down through generations, Harmann Studios has continued to be a family-owned studio: From founder Clif Harmann, to his brother Wayne as his partner, to Wayne's son, John, Harmann Studios has become a lasting presence throughout Northeast Wisconsin. With a strong sense of community, experienced artists in all fields of photography, and the continued desire to create real portraits that show the real you, Harmann Studios continues to grow our passion to capture your heart with our photography. 

Currently owned by John Harmann, Harmann Studios strives to create unique and artistic portraits that will become a valuable investment for your home to cherish for generations to come.

"I knew that photography was going to be my life-long career at the age of 24. I had accepted a job at Harmann Studios with my father as the owner and professional photographer of the West Mason Street location. Soon after moving to Green Bay, I photographed a child that had soon lost his life. His mother had stopped by our studio and I happened to be there. She came up to me and just gave me a hug, tears streaming down her face. Right there I knew that my work had a purpose, touching people's lives with every image I capture. It is so true that photographers and artists are the only careers that can stop time. It is an honor each and every time that a customer asks me to step behind the camera and create these memories for them to keep forever."

John is the second generation owner of Harmann Studios, but has been involved with Harmann Studios since he was a child. He was involved in sales and print production at the Sturgeon Bay studio throughout high school before starting his career as the owner and professional photographer at Harmann Studios in January of 1995. 

In December 2017 our production lab relocated to our De Pere Studio. In our state of the art facility, we bring the experience and knowledge of a full service lab, to ensure that you are getting the highest-quality prints and products. This is because we have complete control of every step of the process. Our lab prints the majority of our products, including prints, posters, flyers, specialty sublimated products (example: mugs, iPhone cases, water bottles), yearbooks, programs and more. Our graphic design and color correction departments deliver the finest color and original design to give our products that high-quality, professional look that Harmann Studios prides itself in. To complete the process, our in-house framing department can deliver a finished product that will be a valuable investment to your home for years to come.
